Welcome to my art website. I was originally self-taught and drawing as soon as I could hold a pencil. I knew art was my life by the age of three. I finally found some real private art instruction from a great illustrator named Albert Casson at the age of nine. Here I received a full traditional art class, and experienced things like life drawing for the first time. I got deep into comic books in high school, but still desired more training in fine art techniques. I attended Sheridan College in the late nineties, as that was the place to go to for art instruction. Through those classes I met brilliant teachers such as John Miecznikowski and Katherine MacDonald, who honed my fine art skills over the years, which I could occasionally apply to illustration if needed. For nearly two decades I produced fine art while working various jobs, selling works and commissions and having gallery shows such as the Carnegie in Dundas Ontario. I also attended McMaster Univeristy and received honours fast-tracking through the Visual Arts program. From there I earned a teaching degree from the University of Western and taught in England and around the GTA in private schools. I have since become a comic book store owner and have returned to my early love of graphic story telling, while not abandoning my fine art, and I always bring all I have learned to all my work. I am currently working on drawing, painting and several projects for comic books.
Thanks for visiting me and my art.
